The inspiration for the 50s and the undisputed style icons of the period are the starting point of the FW 20/21 collection which marks Gianni Cirillo’s debut in ready to wear field.
The Neapolitan designer, who has always been in love with Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn, reinterpreted the refined sensuality of the atmospheres of those years with menswear elements committed, above all, to the choice of fabrics.
So the masculine features of tartan patterns and shiny wool become protagonists of the wide flared skirts, as in the sheath dresses, in the overcoat, in the mannish trousers with pleats or cigarettes pants combined with white cotton shirts, the jersey bodysuits and the thin sweaters, with wide necklines that leave the shoulders and back uncovered.
For the evening, the volumes of the taffeta dresses and the tartan outfits with tulle underskirts and double eco-breitschwanz stoles result as winning.
Simple, but equally seductive, the color palette puts a deep blue in the center of the scene, mixed with black and bright green.
